Recent GSMA Publications

  • New FAQ on Phone Shields and Other Add-On Devices
    This FAQ addresses the question: 'Are there safety benefits to using shields, special batteries of other add on devices for mobile phones?' concluding that there is no scientific proof that such devices significantly reduce exposur, The FAQ also notes that the advertisning claims of some promoters have been challenged by governmental agencies.

  • Mobile Abstracts - December 2007 and January 2008
    This is a monthly newsletter prepared jointly by the GSMA and the MMF and provides a brief update of recent scientific publications related to mobile telephony. The format is short with a summary of the article taken from the published abstract and a link to the paper itself.
